I graduated in January 2014 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and a concentration in Marketing, but my story does not start there. Since graduating high school, I have worked in a number of retail management positions and found that I really love selling products to people. I like to treat each sales opportunity as a mystery to be solved. If I ask the right questions, really listen to their responses and engage them on a personal level, I can find the perfect product for their needs.

In 2012, I combined my passion for storytelling with my desire to see more inclusive all-ages product in the marketplace and launched WE Comics, my first entrepreneurial endeavor. I guided several artists and writers in the creation of new comic books and eventually a graphic novel collection. We traveled California selling these books at conventions and stores and engaging face to face with customers.

These experiences helped my love for sales grow into a passion for marketing and promotions. I dove into my degree studies and took on an internship at Archaia Entertainment, an award-winning book publisher. During my senior year of college, I was hired to serve as the Marketing Director for Darby Pop Publishing, a new company teaming with IDW Publishing. There I helped launch three new series and created a marketing program from the ground up utilizing new avenues of social media to create a guerilla-style promotional campaign centered on fan interaction.

I now work in freelance marketing, editing and journalism, and am looking to expand into other fields of marketing, promotions, social media, and sales.
